Our standards for breeding are very high. In addition to passing hips, thyroid, and several independent character testings we make sure the dog conforms to the FCI breed standard, his character is above average and he has the drive and aptitude to work. Of course the dogs also have to be in great health and I raise my dogs on raw food, limited vaccinations, no toxins in or around my dogs,use mostly alternative medicine and give them lots of mental stimulation, exercise, socialization and training.
In addition we also do extensive research into the pedigrees of both potential mates for possible faults or health problems which could surface generations later. I do have access to the latest RZV dog data base and I receive updates on a yearly basis.
